The Yard Dawgs Jazz Quartet formed when college friends from McKendree University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville combined to form a straight-ahead jazz quartet.

The group is coordinated by drummer Dusty Page. Other members include Sam Brush on guitar, Bryce Kohn on saxophone, and Brady Page on bass.
